Mickey & Malea Schmidt have been involved with La Veta's Rodeo Bible Camp since 1992 when their two children first started going to camp. They saw the impact RBC had on their own children's lives and were inspired to pass that blessing on to others. When the need arose, they volunteered to become the directors of the La Veta camp and coordinate all the activities necessary to produce Rodeo Bible Camp. It is their desire to bring kids into faith in Christ, encourage them in their Christian walk and provide a great camp environment where they can learn the skills associated with Rodeo. Romans 10:14

Wade and Sabrina Kreutzer live on a ranch in La Veta with their two sons, Clancey 15 and Kyon 13. Wade is an accomplished team roper and calf roper who has won three trucks and the PRCA Dodge National Circuit Finals Team Roping in 2004 and 2006. Sabrina is a team roper and breakaway roper who has won 17 year-end championships for the CPRA. They have helped with the La Veta Rodeo Bible Camp for several years and have seen many kids and adults come to know Christ through the camp. It is their desire to share their knowledge of the sport of rodeo, but more importantly to see kids come to know Jesus and develop a relationship with Him.

Ellis and Eleanor Weir, owners of Weir Trucking LLC in La Veta, began their involvement at the La Veta Rodeo Bibile Camp with the very first one held. Eleanor's family was in the rodeo stock contracting business and they furnished stock for several years. Ellis has been a PRCA card holder, competing in steer wrestling and as a pickup man. They are both really excited about La Veta's RBC and share the enthusiasm of bring God's message to the world of rodeo through our young rodeo campers and their families.

Our devoted cook Barbara and her husband Bill who not only helps in the kitchen but also is one of our Shooting Sports instructors.
Barbara and Bill have been helping with LaVeta RBC for many years. Barbara always offers up the best homemade food anyone could wish for including homemade biscuits, cakes, rolls and so much more! Thank you Barbara and Bill!

Pastors Bubby and Cindy Morgan have been giving the Word at La Veta's RBC the past three years and are scheduled for RBC 2008. Morgan Ministries and the Feed Store churches have become an intregal part of our camp.
